Drakes Farm Riding Centre is located in the middle of the village of Ilton, right next to the village green. Link to Streetmap. On arrival please enter through the white gate and the car park is located behind the indoor school.

 

By Car

• From the East/South East Drakes Farm can be reached via the A303,heading towards Ilminster. Then take the A358 exit from the Southfields roundabout on the A303. On the A358 take the 1st exit on the Right signposted Ilton & Buiness Park. DFRC is about a mile and a half from the A358.
• Approximately 150 miles from London.

• From North or South via M5 leaving at J25 (Taunton), then onto A358 and finally local roads.Approximately 50miles from Bristol.

By Train

• Taunton:
  • East-West: The cross country London-Penzance line offers routes to London and Exeter. Reading is a 2hour train journey.
  • North-South: Northern routes come via Bristol Templemeads which is 40mins from Taunton
• Crewkerne
  • Closer to Drakes Farm is the station at Crewkerne, however this offers a reduced range of destinations.

NB: For Riding Holiday Customers We offer a collection service from the stations, but this must be arranged well in advance

 

By Coach

• Taunton: There is a mainline National Express depot located in Taunton 10 miles from Drakes Farm.
• Ilminster: Drop offs in local market town of Ilminster(2miles) are available from a limited number of destinations.

 

By Air

• Various International flights fly to Bristol and Exeter but for most major International locations London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports are a 3 hour train journey away
